TSENG, a Taiwanese Nationalwas linked to TACLOBO Group once headed by HADJI SABTIRI, stockholder, buyer ofbanned corals, giant clamps and other endangered species and has been supplying saidbanned marine species to Taiwan for more than two (2) years. The operation resulted inthe arrest of subject BUSTAMANTE and the seizure of eight (8) sacks of assortedcorals, seventeen (17) boxes of Helmet shells (Budjong), six (6) boxes Giant Clampswith an estimated total market value of one million eight hundred thousand pesos(Php1.8 million). Cases for Violation of Sec. 91 & Sec. 97 in relation to Sec. 11 of RA8550 and Attempted Bribery was filed against GINA BUSTAMANTE and WANFUTSENG before the Mandaue City Prosecutors Office docketed under CC # 37819, CC #37820, and CC # DU-19259, respectively under Inquest Proceedings.11. On June 25, 2011 at about 4:00am Sitio Suba, Brgy. Centro, Tubigon,Bohol joints elements of Bohol, CIDT, Tubigon PS, BPPO Tracker Team andBohol, PDEA led by PI ARSENIO MAGLENTE JR. conducted police operation inthe residence of Joselito Subrado @ Jojo and Aquilina Subrado @ Inday byvirtue of SW # 33-2001 and 34-2011 for Viol. of sec. 11 & 12, Art. II, RA 9165issued by Hon Judge Fernando G. Fuentes II of RTC, Br 49, Tagbilaran City, Boholwhich resulted to the confiscation of MOL 0.40 gms of shabu worth Php5,000.00.Arrested suspects Joselito Subrado @ Jojo and Aquilina Subrado @ Inday areidentified as members of Maquindang Group involved in illegal drugs activitiesoperating in Municipality of Tubigon and neighboring towns in Bohol province. Thegroup was listed in CIDG Target list and was headed by Nerio Maquindang andreportedly getting their supply of illegal drugs from Cebu City. Arrested personstogether with the confiscated items were brought to Bohol CIDT office for properdisposition. Case for Viol of Sec 11, Art.
