On April 6, 2011 at about 12:15 PM at Ultra St., Brgy Occidental,Consolation, Cebu elements of Metro Cebu CIDT, 7RCIDU led by PSI RICKY P NERONin coordination with Consolation PS implemented two (2) Search Warrants for Violationof RA 9208 against ERIC MAURICE FONS and RAULINE VILLACASTIN both issued byHon Judge Samuel Malazarte of RTC Branch 15, Cebu City. The operation was projectedat the cybersex apartment of both subject which resulted in the seizure of five (5)desktop computers with complete accessories, one (1) laptop, sex toys, variousdocuments and the arrest of LANIE RIVERA and LEAH FORMENTERA, both in-chargeof the cybersex operation and the subsequent rescue of seven (7) trafficked persons.Cases for violation of RA 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Person Act of 2003) was filedagainst LANIE RIVERA and LEAH FORMENTERA, under Inquest proceedings whileRegular Preliminary Investigation was filed against ERIC MAURICE FONS and RAULINEVILLACASTIN docketed under NPS # VII-03-INQ-11-0360 and NPS # VII-03-INV-11-0361,respectivelyOTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIESNO. The implementation of SW # 1351-06-2711-57 on June 28, 2011 atabout 5:45 pm at North Reclamation area Cebu City by elements of Metro CebuCIDT led by PSI RICKY P NERON. The SW was issued by Honorable JudgeENRIQUITA LOQUILLANO-BELARMINO of RTC Branch - 57, Cebu City forViolation of Sec. 1, RA 8506 against JIN MASA, SHAKEEL HUSSAIN and MRSAIM, which resulted in the seizure of thirteen (13) smuggled semi-knock downRHD vehicles, to wit:a. one (1) white Suzuki wagon;b. one (1) blue Mitsubishi Pajero 5-doors;c. one (1) dark gray Mitsubishi Pajero 5-doors;d. one (1) gray Mitsubihi Pajero 3-doors;e. one (1) red Toyota RAV-4;f. one (1) dark gray Isuzu Bighorn;g. one (1) silver Isuzu Bighorn;h. one (1) dark blue Isuzu Bighorn;i. two (2) white Honda Fit; andj. three (3) white Suzuki multicabCase for Violation of Sec.1 of RA 8506 was filed against JIM MASA, SHAKELHUSSAIN & MR SAIM in Cebu City Prosecutors Office docketed under NPS # VII-11G-01062.
