The <strong>PowerMark</strong> Seeker Series andCurriculum were designed to introduce children to the basics ofChristianity and disciple them in their young faith. Each of the sixcomic books, along with the 13-week curriculum will build a solidfoundation for deeper spiritual understanding that children will drawupon for a life-time.Your class will love the adventures of the “Seekers”, an international crew of kids on assignment toseek out the truth about Christianity. <strong>PowerMark</strong> joins them on their “Quest for Truth”. Along theway <strong>PowerMark</strong> and the Seekers must battle the evil plots of “Mindfree”. Each comic book endswith a cliff-hanger that invites children back to continue the story.The six issues of <strong>PowerMark</strong> Seeker Series give children an opportunity to identify with theadventures of the “Seekers” and the questions they seek to answer:Who is God?What is Sin?Who is Jesus?What is Salvation?How can I become a Christian?How do I live the Christian Life?The comics answer these question through the presentation of Scripture and Bible stories andthrough the Seeker’s adventures and meetings with <strong>PowerMark</strong>.HOW TO USE THE COMICSIf you plan to use thecurriculum as an outreach orto begin a new class orprogram, you can give Issue#1 to all children you want toinvite through hand-outs, door to door, mailings, special events, outreaches, camps, VBS, etc. Onthe back of the issue is a blank square to place an invitation label that explains when, where andhow children can attend your class or program. You can include a flyer with the comic book thatinvites children on an adventure through the <strong>PowerMark</strong> <strong>Comics</strong> and to collect all six issuesthroughout your program.If you are using the comics with your regular class, you can hand out book #1, as you begin lessonone. Issue #2 - #6 can be handed out at your discretion throughout your program. Depending onthe setting you will be using the curriculum, it is recommended that you hand out the comic booksto the kids attending your class, as you are covering the lessons that coincide with each issue.


Because the books are covered over two lessons and review lessons are available, there is ampleopportunity for kids to catch up with the rest of the class, if they do miss a lesson.The Seeker Series comics are available in a variety of packs on our website store atwww.powermarkcomics.com. They are also available in Spanish. In addition to the Seeker books1-6, we have a special Seeker Halloween comic, Easter comic and a counseling comic that hasfree downloadable Mentor’s Guides. You can also order your comics, by calling 1-877-769-2669.We will be happy to set up an account for billing under your church.HOW TO USE THE CURRICULUMAdaptability - The <strong>PowerMark</strong> Seeker Series Curriculum was written to be adaptable to manysettings, class sizes, time allotted to teach each lesson, weeks available to use the curriculum, anda wide range of age levels. The comics and curriculum were designed for children, ages 7-13.Children’s workers have and can use the comics and curriculum in Camps, Children’s Church,Vacation Bible School, New Convert’s Classes, After School Programs, Sunday School, BackyardClubs, Mission Trips and more. The <strong>PowerMark</strong> Seeker Series has been translated in over 11languages and is written to be adapted for international use.Learning Styles - Children learn new concepts and truths through many different styles. TheSeeker Series Curriculum introduces these truths through a variety of teaching methods. Creativebible story-telling, object lessons, games, scripture memorization, interactive discussion and lifeapplication activities are used in each lesson.Children also learn by repetition. This curriculum will reinforce the spiritual truths taught overseveral lessons and review lessons in new and exciting ways. Upon completion of the curriculum,your children will be grounded in the basics of Christianity, that will bring them to a deeper faith,understanding, and relationship with their Savior and allow them to share their faith with others.The Seeker Series Curriculum is written to create an environment of interaction and discussionbetween you and the children. Children will not only learn from you, but from each other.Encourage your childern to ask questions and discuss the truths and life points being presented ineach lesson.Preparation - Teachers will find this curriculum easy to use, with supplies that are readilyavailable. Prepartion, however, is key to a successful teaching environment. To help prepare,each lesson will begin with a summary and teacher introduction, as well as a list of supplies thatwill be needed to teach all activities in the lesson.Each lesson’s bible story will be more effective when a teacher becomes familiar with the story andpractices the story-telling activity. Some object lessons and activities will require the teacher toprepare the supplies or classroom. It is important for the teacher to read the lesson and the comicbook in advance of teaching the lesson.Above all, prepare for your lesson with prayer. Be committed to pray for the needs of the childrenattending your class and that God will use this opportunity and use you as their teacher, to helpform the children you will teach over the next 13 weeks into disciples of Christ!


Enriched Learning Environment - The <strong>PowerMark</strong> Seeker Series takes place in the future of coolgadgets, rocket ships, computers and telecommunications. You can add to your classroom orlearning environment by investing a little time in decorating your classroom in a futuristic setting forthe next 13 weeks. Look through the comic books for ideas. One church that used the SeekerSeries program, hung planets and stars from the ceiling, made a rocket ship from a large piece ofcardboard, made computers and gadgets from cardboard boxes and poster board and hungpictures of <strong>PowerMark</strong> and the Seekers. If you choose to decorate, send us your pictures for usto post on our website for others to see what creative ways to enrich their learning environment.Incentive and Prizes - The adventure continues in the <strong>PowerMark</strong> Adventure Series. In theadventure series, Issues #1- #24, <strong>PowerMark</strong> invites another international crew of kids on a newand exciting mission. While using the 13 week curriculum, you can give your kids points forscripture memorization, attendance, bringing their bible, bringing a friend, etc. When children reacha certain number of points, you can give them a new issue from the <strong>PowerMark</strong> Adventure Seriesto collect.
