Training ModeA training mode is available so that the register can be operated (to practice registrations)without updating totals and counters. If you choose to use training mode, you must set atraining mode password (see "Training Mode Password" in the "Program ModeProgramming" chapter.)Note: If you make registrations to check tracking numbers in training mode, rememberthat the check tracking total will be updated. Remember to pay, or clear the check file(Reset Mode Menu/Z/Open Checks) before resuming normal operations. You mustclose all open checks prior to entering training mode.1. From the MANAGER MODE menu press 6 to enter or exit training mode:ENTER/EXIT TRAININGREGIST. IS CURRENTLYNOT IN TRAININGTO ENTER TRAININGENTER 4 DIGIT PASSWDAND PRESS ENTER2. The ENTER/EXIT TRAINING screen displays. The screen will display thecurrent status. To enter training mode, type your four digit password (you mustenter preceding zeros) and press CASH.
