Totaling a Charge SaleUse the charge keys to track charge or credit card sales. See "Function Key Programming" inthe "Program Mode Programming" chapter to change the descriptors for the charge tenderfunctions. For example, you can use CHARGE 1 to track Visa card sales. The descriptor"VISA" will display on the function look up menu and print on the printer. You can also settendering options for the charge keys, i.e. whether to allow over tendering or to enforcetendering.Note: When a function is located on a function look up menu key, you access thefunction by pressing the appropriate function look up key, then pressing the numericdigit corresponding to the function you wish to select. On the default keyboard, theCHARGE 1 function is function #1 on the function look up 2 menu, so to use theCHARGE 1 function, you would first press FUNCTION LOOK#2, then press thenumeric 1 key.1.
