Eat In/Take Out/Drive Thru SalesDifferent types of sales, such as "Eat In", "Take Out" and "Drive Thru" can be categorized byplacing separate keys on the keyboard. EAT IN, TAKE OUT, and DRIVE THRU keysfunction as subtotal keys. You can force the operator to press one of the keys beforetendering. See "System Option Programming" in the "Program Mode Programming" chapter.Separate totals will be maintained on the financial report to detail sales counts and amountsfor each key.Note: EAT IN, TAKE OUT, and DRIVE THRU can be programmed to exempt taxes toaccommodate area where food is taxed differently.Totaling and TenderingThere are ten tender functions available to categorize sales. CASH and CHECK areindividual keys on the keyboard. The eight charge functions CHARGE 1 - CHARGE 8 areavailable on the FUNCTION LOOK#2 key on the default keyboard.Depending upon how your register is programmed you might find charge keys as individualfunction keys on the keyboard, or listed on one of the function look up keys.Totaling a Cash Sale1.
