Electronic Journal 0perationAn electronic journal feature is available on the <strong>SPS</strong>-<strong>300</strong>. The electronic journal captures thesales journal in the register memory. If you intend to use the electronic journal, you mustallocate sufficient memory (see "Memory Allocation" in the "Service Mode Programming"chapter) and activate the journal and set related journal capture options (see "System OptionProgramming" in the "Program Mode Programming" chapter.)Use this program to print all or selected parts of the journal memory. Note: this program willnot clear the electronic journal. See "Reset Electronic Journal" in the "Z-Mode" chapter toclear the E.J.1. From the MANAGER MODE menu press 7 to display the electronic journalmenu:ELECTRONIC JOURNAL0.PRT ALL EJ1.PRT ONLY CASH2.PRT ONLY CHECK3.PRT ONLY MISC/TEND4.PRT ONLY %5.PRT ONLY RA/PO6.PRT ONLY RETURN2. Press PAGE DOWN to view the remaining electronic journal options:ELECTRONIC JOURNAL7.PRT ONLY ERR.CORR/VOID8.PRT ONLY NOSALE9.PRT ONLY CANCEL00.PRT BY CLERKDEC.PRINT ALL EJ (BY IRC)3. Type the digit that represents the portion of the electronic journal you wish toprint. If you select 00 for print by clerk, you will be prompted to enter theappropriate clerk number.Note: If you select “PRINT ALL EJ (BY IRC)”, you will presented with the option toprint or save the report to SD. If you choose print, the EJ will print sequentially foreach ECR in the system.
