Special exhibition „Pan-European Picnic“ On August 19, 1989 the bor<strong>der</strong> between Hungary and Austria at Sopron was<br />

supposed to be opened to East German citizens for about 3 hours that day. But then hundreds of them stormed the bor<strong>der</strong><br />

control <strong>in</strong>to Austria. The memorial site is still look<strong>in</strong>g for remnants that stand for this day, as part of the exhibition (til Novembre<br />

12, 2006).<br />
