The winners of these matches will play for 9 th to 12 th places and the losing teams will play for13 th to 16 th places.3.3 The semi-finals will be as follows although the matches will not necessarily be played in thisorder:Winner Match 1 v Winner Match 2Winner Match 3 v Winner Match 4The winners of these matches will play for 1 st and 2 nd places (the final) and the losers will playfor 3 rd and 4 th places.3.4 The classification matches for 5 th to 8 th places will be as follows although the matches will notnecessarily be played in this order:Loser Match 1 v Loser Match 2Loser Match 3 v Loser Match 4The winners of these matches will play for 5 th and 6 th places and the losers will play for 7 th and8 th places.3.5 The classification matches for 9 th to 12 th places will be as follows although the matches will notnecessarily be played in this orderWinner Match 5 v Winner Match 6Winner Match 7 v Winner Match 8The winners of these matches will play for 9 th and 10 th places and the losers will play for 11 thand 12 th h places.3.6 The classification matches for 13 th to 16 th places will be as follows although the matches will notnecessarily be played in this order:Loser Match 5 v Loser Match 6Loser Match 7 v Loser Match 8The winners of these matches will play for 13 th and 14 th places and the losers will play for 15 thand 16 th places.3.7 The score at the end of the regulation time of these matches will be registered by the FIH as theresult of the match.3.8 If at the end of the regulation time the result is a draw, in order to establish an outright winner ofa classification match for the purpose of the competition, a shoot-out competition as specified inAppendix 10 will be played to establish the winner of the match.FIH Tournament Regulations:Outdoor Competitions – June 2013Page 23
