18 ANTI - DOPING18.1 All anti-doping tests will be carried out in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code in forceon the first playing day of the tournament and the <strong>FIH</strong> Anti Doping <strong>Regulations</strong> in force on thefirst playing day of the tournament.18.2 All matches are subject to anti-doping tests as the <strong>FIH</strong> may direct.18.3 Team Managers will be advised about anti-doping test procedures at the <strong>Tournament</strong> Director’spre-competition briefing meeting.18.4 Any player may be the subject of an anti-doping test after a match even if that player hasremained on the team bench throughout the match. A player may be the subject of more thanone anti-doping test during the competition.18.5 A player selected for an anti-doping test may not take a shower, bath, ice-bath or similar beforeproviding a urine/blood sample which meets the requirements in the <strong>International</strong> Standard forTesting.19 UNFORESEEN EVENTS19.1 If circumstances arise which are not provided for in these <strong>Regulations</strong>, the <strong>Tournament</strong> Directorwill determine any actions necessary.19.2 If any team affected by a decision of the <strong>Tournament</strong> Director under article 19.1 wishes toprotest, it may do so following the procedures set out in Regulation 15.<strong>FIH</strong> <strong>Tournament</strong> <strong>Regulations</strong>:Outdoor Competitions – June 2013Page 14
