WVDP Phase 1 CSAPdata. It is possible that some areas may be so affected by shine that a GWS is not useful. In thatevent the affected area footprint will be mapped and DOE notified of the condition.• Data that are collected as part of gross gamma activity surveys will be mapped and reviewed forcompleteness (i.e., to ensure that there are no areas that lack survey coverage) and for indicationsof data quality problems, either in coordinate information or detector response. Examples of theformer would be mapped data lines that deviate significantly from the known path or data pointsthat clearly fall outside the area being surveyed. Examples of the latter are inexplicable trends insequential readings that appear to be a function of time rather than location or lingering evidenceof shine effects. In addition, all surface soil sampling locations will have a static FIDLER reading collected from anunobstructed height of 15 cm above the location prior to sampling. Static FIDLER readings will berecorded in a fashion that allows them to be paired with the analytical results associated with the sampledlocation. These paired results will be preserved and reviewed as work progresses to allow monitoring ofFIDLER performance and determination of field MDC values for the FIDLER.Rev. 1 87
