(06/03) Supersedes (12/98)OVERVIEW:EnviroGuard OSB is a compositepanel for interior use made bylaminating a fiberglass reinforcedplastic (FRP) or high density polyethylene(HDPE) skin to a substrate oforiented strand board (OSB).EnviroGuard OSB is attached tothe substrate (or studs) usingconstruction adhesive in the field ofthe panel and mechanical fastenersaround the perimeter. The system iscompleted with one piece or twopiece plastic (PVC) trim moldings.BASIC USES & APPLICATIONS:EnviroGuard panels are designedto provide an easily maintainedsurface for interior wall and ceilingapplications.Durable fiberglass reinforced plasticor high density polyethlene skinsmake these panels ideal for use inkitchens, restrooms, locker rooms,food processing plants, animalshelters, temporary educationalfacilities or as well as any otherapplication where a washable, lowmaintenance surface is desired.GENERAL LIMITATIONS:EnviroGuard panels are intendedfor interior use as wall or ceilingpanels only. Panels may be eligiblefor consideration as a structuralelement of a wall assembly dependingupon fastening schedule. Construction adhesive isused at the intermediates and in thefield of the panel.
