Although this construction is expected to occur in previo<strong>us</strong>ly disturbedareas, less than significant impacts to surface water would occur from potential runoff that couldtransport sediment.5.5.3.3.2 Impacts from Range ConstructionNo ImpactsThe current number of Soldiers training at FTC and PCMS would remain the same. Therefore, noadditional ranges would be constructed at FTC or PCMS. Consequently, no impacts to waterresources would occur.5.5.3.3.3 Impacts from Live-Fire TrainingLess Than Significant ImpactsThe number of required live-fire <strong>us</strong>er days per year at FTC would be near current levels. waterresource mitigation would continue. Impacts to water resources ca<strong>us</strong>ed by live-fire training would beless than significant. No live-fire training would occur at PCMS, so no impacts would occur atPCMS.5.5.3.3.4 Impacts from Maneuver TrainingLess Than Significant ImpactsManeuver training intensity and frequency at FTC and PCMS would remain at the levels associatedwith the current stationing. Implementation of the FTC and PCMS INRMP and ITAM program workplans and associated land management practices and water resource mitigation would continue.Impacts to water resources ca<strong>us</strong>ed by maneuver training would be less than significant.5.5.4 Wildfire ManagementTable 5-55 lists the types of impacts associated with wildfire management that would occur underAlternative D. Under the No Action Alternative, the 2/25 th <strong>SBCT</strong> would not be stationed at any of thealternative locations, and therefore no <strong>SBCT</strong>-specific impacts to wildfire risk or management wouldoccur. Impacts are described below for each location.5.5.4.1 Hawaii5.5.4.1.1 Impacts from Cantonment ConstructionNo ImpactsSome non-Stryker construction such as barracks renovations and maintenance activities would occuras planned.
