Most needed facilities are already planned as part of theArmy’s transformation at FTC. In comparison to the existing population of FTC, this increase inpersonnel and associated facilities needs would not be significantly different than the current needs atFTC. However, all unaccompanied Soldiers associated with the SBCT (estimated at 200 to 300Soldiers) would be stationed off-post until currently needed and planned barracks are built. Also, temporarily, Stryker vehicles would be parked in vacant fields within the cantonment area until afuture date when permanent parking would be developed.February 2008 5-156 2/25th SBCT Final EIS
