The mass was arranged by Dick's wife, Denise, through the school alumni office. Denise shared that Dick had great feelings for GoodCounsel and fondly remembered his days as a student. School Chaplain, Father Gross saidMass, and gave a comforting an welcoming homily, even acknowledging the support fromDick's former classmates. It was a fulfilling experience. In discussions with school officials afterward, it became clear that such an arrangementshould be encouraged in the future for other alumni to take advantage of. I know I will beinterested when my time comes! It is also a way for classmates, particularly the local contingent,to gather at the school mass to show our support and respect for one of our own.We encourage you and your family to notify Good Counsel when one of our own passes on,and to consider having a memorial mass at Our lady of Good Counsel. As with Dick's news, the alumni office will send out emails of the passing as well as the arrangements regardingthe mass. We also encourage the class of '62 who are able, to make every effort to attend themass and lend support. It's a wonderful gesture, and we can all surly use the extra prayers.Best wishes!Joe Sansone and his 56 ChevyThis publication is produced bythe Good Counsel Alumni Office. For more information on the50th CLASS REUION, contact:Monica AugustynDirector of Alumni RelationsAugustyn@olgchs.org(240)283-3214Bill Bullough
