How do you build a roof garden?Firstly, you must ensure that the roof is clean and free of stones, rubbish etc. Onthis clean surface, you apply a protective layer. On top of this protective layer, youplace <strong>Green</strong> <strong>Label</strong> <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong>s.The trays click together, ensuring that they do not move. Along the sides, you adda layer of gravel of 10-15cm in width in order to prevent overgrowth on or over theeaves.Your roof garden is now complete!How is the <strong>Green</strong> <strong>Label</strong> <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong> structured?The <strong>Green</strong> <strong>Label</strong> <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong> consists of four layers:1. The vegetation layer, consisting of at least eight different types of <strong>Sedum</strong> plants.2. The substrate layer was specially designed for <strong>Green</strong> <strong>Label</strong> <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong>s. It islightweight, contains a sufficient amount of nutrients, has a high water-bufferingcapacity and it is RHP certified.3. The separation/filter layer is a polyester film that prevents fine particles and thesubstrate from being washed out.4. The drainage layer consists of broken Geo Hydrokorrels clay pebbles whichabsorb water for dry periods. Rainwater that is not absorbed by the green roof isstored and can be removed via the drains on the roof.The ready-to-use <strong>Green</strong> <strong>Label</strong> <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong>s come ready-grown with at least eightdifferent varieties of <strong>Sedum</strong> plant. These potted <strong>Sedum</strong> plants are able to survive ina limited substrate layer and can withstand periods of drought.Technical specifications of the <strong>Green</strong> <strong>Label</strong> <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong>:The <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong> is 49 x 49cm and 8cm in height. When dry, its weight is ±8kg.When fully grown and saturated, its weight is ±11kg. This amounts to ±48kg perm².The <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong> can be linked both horizontally and vertically. To inspect or repairthe roof, the <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong>s can be easily disconnected, removed and replaced asneeded.The <strong>Green</strong> Line <strong>Sedum</strong> <strong>Tray</strong> is suitable for creating major projects, and particularlysuited to small roofs.
