Users canspecify packet slices from 64 to 4096 bytes.High Port DensityWith the aid of the easy to use web GUI, and high port density (24ports in 1U), PFS allows the creation of any-to-any, or many-to-manyconnections among all available ports. Ports are not dedicated forcertain functions. Any port can be used as an input, output, tap,network or monitor port. PFS can be purchased with any number ofports. It can later be upgraded by purchasing additional port licenses.Port TaggingSimena’s PFS ‘s port tagging feature help users to determine theorigine of the packets. When port where tagging is enabled, incomingpackets are marked with the port number they are received. During thisoperation, the content of the packet is maintained.
