2010 QUEENSLAND OPEN SHORT COURSE QUALIFYINGMEET19 TH JUNE 2010VENUE:MEET:RATIONALE:RULES:PHOTOS:ENTRIES:Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Cnr Old Cleveland & Tilley Roads, ChandlerThe Meet is open to SQ registered swimmers, members <strong>of</strong> Clubs affiliated with other StateAssociations and international swimmers who meet clearance criteria.This meet has been designed for two purposes: to provide a quality hit out for swimmerscompeting at the 2010 Australian <strong>Short</strong> <strong>Course</strong> Championships, and to also provide a lastchance qualifying opportunity for those Championships.All Swimming Queensland General Rules and Championship By-Laws apply.In nominating for this meet, swimmers agree that they may be photographed by SwimmingQueensland’s approved photographer, that the images may be displayed for viewing andpurchasing on site during the meet and on the photographer’s secure website after the meet,and that they may also be used by Swimming Queensland in its publications and on itswebsite.The Nominations Officer for affiliated clubs, Institute <strong>of</strong> Sport and International Teams mustforward all entries from their members.Entries will not be accepted from individual members.Interstate members must obtain a clearance from their respective State Association beforenominating in order to gain entry into the meet.International swimmers training with clubs in Australia must be nominated under theircountry name not the Australian club name. Current International clearances must beobtained.Qualifying times can be used as <strong>of</strong> 1 st January 2009.The ONLY event where times from non-qualifying meets, including club nights and clubchampionships, may be used is for the 100m IM.Qualifying times for all other events must have been swum at a qualifying meet (either shortcourse or long course) prior to the nominations closing date.Converted long course times and entries with no times or NT will not be accepted.Multidisability swimmers may nominate for the 400m Freestyle and the 100m IndividualMedley. SWD athletes do not have to meet the qualifying time attached to these events butthey are required to submit a time.Nominations should be submitted by Clubs via Team Manager (please ensure the latestversion <strong>of</strong> TM is used). Go to www.qld.swimming.org.au for a downloadable program <strong>of</strong>events for TM.Please send one completed TM file by the closing date.
