Type the name of your <strong>Exchange</strong> Server 2007 mail server in the Microsoft<strong>Exchange</strong> server field.11. Click Check Name after entering the <strong>Exchange</strong> server name to verify thatthe server name and user name are correct. This is optional, but it can helpyou avoid name resolution issues later.NOTE: Use default values for the remaining settings.12. Click OK.The Microsoft <strong>Exchange</strong> Server properties dialog box closes.13. Switch to MAPI Profile Manager window and select File > Exit.The MAPI Profile Manager window closes.Configure Backup Agent Service to Run as<strong>Avamar</strong>Backup<strong>User</strong>IMPORTANT: If your <strong>Exchange</strong> Server 2007 server isdeployed in a high-availability configuration using Windowsclusters, all nodes (including inactive nodes) must be configuredto start the backup service as <strong>Avamar</strong>Backup<strong>User</strong>.However, only the active node can have the backup agentservice running at any one time.1. Ensure that you are still logged into the <strong>Exchange</strong> server as<strong>Avamar</strong>Backup<strong>User</strong> or some other administrative user account.2. Launch the Services application by selecting Start > Programs >Administrative Tools > Services.The Services window appears.3. Locate the Backup Agent service in the Services list and select right mousebutton Properties.The Backup Agent Properties dialog box appears.4. Click the Logon tab.5.
