Log into the Exchange server using the new AvamarBackupUser account.2. Open a Command Prompt.3. Run the profman.exe utility by typing:cd C:\Program Files\avs\binprofman.exeThe MAPI Profile Manager window appears.4. Click the New Profile toolbar button (shown left).The New Profile dialog box appears.5. Type AvamarBackupProfile in the Profile Name field and click OK.The New Profile dialog box closes.6. Switch to MAPI Profile Manager window7. Select the AvamarBackupProfile.8. Click the Add Service to selected profile toolbar button (shown left).The New Profile dialog box appears.9. Type the name of your Exchange Server 2007 mail server in the MicrosoftExchange server field.11. Click Check Name after entering the Exchange server name to verify thatthe server name and user name are correct. This is optional, but it can helpyou avoid name resolution issues later.NOTE: Use default values for the remaining settings.12. Click OK.The Microsoft Exchange Server properties dialog box closes.13. Switch to MAPI Profile Manager window and select File > Exit.The MAPI Profile Manager window closes.Configure Backup Agent Service to Run asAvamarBackupUserIMPORTANT: If your Exchange Server 2007 server isdeployed in a high-availability configuration using Windowsclusters, all nodes (including inactive nodes) must be configuredto start the backup service as AvamarBackupUser.However, only the active node can have the backup agentservice running at any one time.1. Ensure that you are still logged into the Exchange server asAvamarBackupUser or some other administrative user account.2. Launch the Services application by selecting Start > Programs >Administrative Tools > Services.The Services window appears.3. Locate the Backup Agent service in the Services list and select right mousebutton Properties.The Backup Agent Properties dialog box appears.4. Click the Logon tab.5.
