If you want to change your backup retention setting, select or type thefollowing:FIELD/OPTIONRetention periodEnd dateNo end dateDESCRIPTIONIf you want this backup to be deleted fromthe <strong>Avamar</strong> server after a specific number ofdays, weeks, months or years, select thisoption and type the number of days, weeks,months or years.If you want this backup to be deleted fromthe <strong>Avamar</strong> server on a specific calendardate, select this option and browse to thatdate on the calendar.If you want to keep this backup for as long asthis client remains active in the <strong>Avamar</strong>server, select this option.10. Select the encryption method you want to use for client/server datatransfer during this backup.Choices are:HighMediumNoneStrongest available encryption setting for that specific clientplatform.Medium strength encryption.No encryption.NOTE: The exact encryption technology and bit strength used for anygiven client/server connection is dependent on a number of factors,including the client platform and <strong>Avamar</strong> server version.
