If you are backing up more than oneExchange server within an Active Directory forest, you mustuse a different Windows user account for each Exchangeserver. This is because each user defined in Active Directorystores an Exchange mailbox as an attribute. It is thereforenot possible for Avamar to use one user account to backupmore than one Exchange server. This limitation applies tothe Exchange Message Plug-in only.Perform the following steps on one node in the cluster:1. Log into the Exchange server using an administrative user account.-or-For Exchange clusters, log on to any node in the cluster.2. Select Start > All Programs > EMC Avamar > Backup UserConfiguration Tool.The Avamar Backup User Configuration Tool appears.The Exchange Server, Storage group, and Mailbox store list boxes willalready be filled, and the message log displays the message “Sharedlibrary mapiaxion loaded successfully.”3. Specify a user name or use the default AvamarBackupUser name.4. Specify a new password.5.
