TransportationSpecial Test Records Central Office Director ofGuidance andTestingOccasional Records Principal will collect School Principal(Education records notand make available atidentified above: such asstudent’s schoolthose in superintendent’s office.In the school attorney’s office,or in the personal possessionof teacher)Disclosure Of Education RecordsThe <strong>Calhoun</strong> <strong>County</strong> School System will disclose information from a student’seducation records only with the written consent of the parent or eligible student, except:1. To school officials who have a legitimate educational interest in records.A school official is:- A person employed by the System as an administrator, supervisor,instructor, or support staff member.- A person elected to the School Board.- A person employed by or under contract to the district to perform a specialtask, such as an attorney, auditor, medical consultants or therapists.A school official has a legitimate educational interest if the official is:- Performing a task that is specified in his or her position description or by acontract agreement.- Performing a task related to a student’s education.- Performing a task related to the discipline of a student.- Providing a service or benefit relating to the student or student’s family,such as health care, counseling, or job placement.2. To officials of another school in which a student seeks or intends to enrollupon request of such official.3. To certain officials of the U.S. Department of Education, the ComptrollerGeneral, and state and local educational authorities, in connection withcertain state or federally supported education programs.
