Instruction Manual for KLARO Modem KM12 V.12.368. KLARO alarm sensor KA12The KLARO alarm sensor KA12 is anextension module and can be used incombination with a suction lance withfloating switch (order no.: 981858) tomonitor the filling level of the phosphateprecipitant in a canister. Instructionson how to connect the alarmsensor are provided in chapter 3.3and 3.4.If the canister is empty, a text messageis sent to the number which hasbeen stored in the KLARO alarm sensorKA12 (max. four numbers). If youalready know the number to whichmessages are to be sent, we willassume the preconfiguration of theKLARO alarm sensor KA12. However,you have the option to program thealarm sensor by yourself. Detailed informationis provided in the softwaremanual which we will send you onrequest.If you use the KLARO alarm sensorKA12 in connection with the KLAROWebMonitor ® , we will carry out specialconfigurations.9. KLARO battery pack KP12The KLARO battery pack KP12 isused as a UPS, buffering the KLAROmodem KM12 in case of mains failure.Thus it is possible to send out acorresponding error message in caseof mains failure.Turn on the switch at the KLARO batterypack KP12 to activate batterybuffering. If the green LED is on, bufferingis activated.The red LED is on while the KLARObattery pack KP12 is charging; bufferingis in no way affected duringcharging.Power is supplied through the GNDinterface.
