8.23 Car battery min. voltage
Description:
The purpose of this function is to avoid discharging
your car battery excessively.
Deep-discharging causes long-term damage
to the battery, and could also mean that
your car engine will not start at the end of
the session.
Activating the menu point:
Press the spezial button.
Select value:
Press the + or - button.
Value range:
10.4 V ... 11.2 V ... 11.6 V
in 100 mV increments
Confirm value:
Press enter
Interrupt:
Press esc
Notes:
The default value is preceded by an asterisk.
The range of values stated above represents
the voltage limit below which the ecolader
beeps at you slowly to draw your attention
to the low battery voltage.
If the battery voltage falls to more than 0.5
V below the selected voltage, all charge and
discharge processes are halted.
Display:
If the battery reaches the set low voltage
limit the ecolader shows the following:
Carbattvolts=MIN
and beeps at 2-second intervals.
If it falls by a further 0.5 V (500 mV) the
screen shows the following message:
