Study OverviewPatients with severe traumatic brain injury andrefractory intracranial hypertension were randomlyassigned either to receive standard care or toundergo standard care plus bifrontotemporoparietaldecompression craniectomy.Hypothesis: decompressive craniectomy decreasesintracranial pressure hereby improves functionaloutcomes, and decrease the proportion ofsurvivors with severe disability.2
