Proceeding of the 4 rd International Symposium“NEW RESEARCH IN BIOTECHNOLOGY” USAMV Bucharest, Romania, 2011Weight of dry roots and above ground parts in all test plants treated withmicroelements is less from that of control plants.It makes an impression that plants treated with MnSО 4 , H 3 BO 3 , CuSo 4 and MgSO 4have had a larger weight of leafs and stalks from the control sample in fresh condition, andafter drying the weight of their above ground parts is less than control plants which meansthat microelements stimulate the accumulation of more water in plant tissue.4. CONCLUSIONS- Highest germination is registered in the option treated with MnSО 4 and in the controloption (92%) followed by option with H 3 BO 3 (88%) and CuSo 4 (84%).- Lowest germination was registered in seeds treated with MgSO 4 (80%) and ZnSo 4 (78%)- Pre-sowing treatment of seeds with ZnSo4 and with CuSo4 stimulates the development ofthe root system (respectively by 49% and 20% longer roots than control sample), and withH 3 BO 3 – that of above ground mass (12% higher plants than control samples)- Plants treated with MnSО 4 , H 3 BO 3 , CuSo 4 and MgSO 4 have a larger weight of leafs andstalks in fresh condition, and after drying the weight of their above ground parts is less thanthat of control plants, which means that microelements stimulate the accumulation of morewater in plant tissues.REFERENCES681.
