<strong>User</strong> <strong>Agreement</strong> - <strong>PayPal</strong>Page 27 of 28n. "Customer Service" is <strong>PayPal</strong>'s customer support which can be accessed online through the<strong>PayPal</strong> Help Centre at any time, or by calling (402) 935-2050 from 6 AM to midnight Central Time.o. "Days" means calendar days.p. "Default Payment Methods" means the order in which <strong>PayPal</strong> uses your Payment Methods tofund a transaction if you do not select a Preferred Payment Method.q. "Dispute" means a dispute filed directly with <strong>PayPal</strong> in the Online Resolution Center pursuant tosection 13 of this <strong>Agreement</strong>.r. "eBay" means eBay Group Inc. "eBay Gift Card" means an eBay branded physical gift card thatis issued by <strong>PayPal</strong>. "eCheck" means a payment funded from a sender's bank account that isheld pending and not received by the recipient until it clears. When you send money usingeCheck it will usually be held pending for up to 8 Business Days. The amount of time that it isheld pending will increase if the payment is sent from a bank account outside the United States.s. "Fees" means those amounts stated in section 8 of this <strong>Agreement</strong>.t. "Information" means any confidential and/or personally identifiable information or otherinformation related to an Account or <strong>User</strong>, including but not limited to the following: name, emailaddress, billing/shipping address, phone number and financial information.u. "Instant Transfer" means a payment funded from the sender's bank account in which <strong>PayPal</strong>credits the recipient instantly.v. "Mass Payments" means the ability to send multiple payments at the same time.w. "Merchant Processing Delay" means a delay between the time you Authorize a payment andthe merchant processes your payment.x. "Payment Review" means the process described in section 4 of this <strong>Agreement</strong>.y. "Payment Method" means the payment method used to fund a transaction. The followingpayment methods may be used to fund a transaction: Balance, Instant Transfer, eCheck, creditcard, debit card issued by Visa or MasterCard, eBay Gift Card and Redemption Codes.z. "<strong>PayPal</strong>," "we," "us" or "our" means <strong>PayPal</strong> CA Limited and its subsidiaries and affiliates.aa. "<strong>PayPal</strong> Debit Card" means a <strong>PayPal</strong> branded debit card that is accepted anywhere that acceptsMasterCard.ab. "<strong>PayPal</strong> Mobile" means a Service that allows you to send and receive payments through yourmobile phone.ac. "Personal Account" means an Account used for non-business purposes and used primarily forpersonal, family, or household purposes.ad. "Policy" or "Policies" means any Policy or other agreement between you and <strong>PayPal</strong> that youentered into on the <strong>PayPal</strong> website, or in connection with your use of the Services.ae. "Pooled Accounts" means Accounts at one or more banks in which <strong>PayPal</strong> will place <strong>User</strong>Balances.af. "Preferred Payment Method" means a Payment Method that you select to fund a paymentinstead of using the Default Payment Method.ag. "Quick Pay" means a <strong>PayPal</strong> Mobile setting that allows you to send money through <strong>PayPal</strong>Mobile with less clicks.ah. "Recurring Payments" means a payment in which you provide an advance Authorization to amerchant to charge your <strong>PayPal</strong> Account directly on a one-time, regular, or sporadic basis inaccordance with your agreement with the merchant. Recurring Payments are sometimes called"subscriptions", “automatic payments” or "preapproved payments".ai. "Redemption Code" means the electronic code needed to obtain the benefit of gift certificates,or other promotional coupons.aj. "Reserve" means a percentage of the funds received into your Account that we hold in order toprotect against the risk of Reversals, Chargebacks, Claims or any other liability related to yourAccount and/or use of the Services.ak.al.am.an.ao.ap.aq.ar.as.at.au."Restricted Activities" means those activities described in section 9 of this <strong>Agreement</strong>."Reversal" means a payment that you received has been removed from your Balance based ona request that an account holder filed directly with his or her bank, or directly with <strong>PayPal</strong> (for afraudulent transaction) to invalidate a payment, or because <strong>PayPal</strong> believes it is a fraudulentpayment."seller" and "merchant" are used interchangeably and mean a <strong>User</strong> who is selling goods and/orservices and using the Services to receive payment."Send Money" means your ability to send money though the Service."Service" means all payment services and related products available through www.paypal.ca."Significantly Not as Described" means the definition provided in section 13.11 of this<strong>Agreement</strong>."Substantial Change" means a change to the terms of this <strong>Agreement</strong> that reduces your rightsor increases your responsibilities."Transaction Details Page" means the page on the <strong>PayPal</strong> website titled "Transaction Details"that displays information about the transaction. This page is accessible from the "Details" link onthe "overview" and "History" subtabs of the "My Account" tab on the <strong>PayPal</strong> website."Verified" means that you have completed our verification process to establish your identity with<strong>PayPal</strong>. Verification does not constitute an endorsement of a <strong>User</strong>, or guarantee a <strong>User</strong>'sbusiness practices."Viewable Online Proof of Delivery" means documentation that can be viewed online at theApproved Shipper's website and includes the address to which the package was delivered."Viewable Online Signature Confirmation" means documentation that can be viewed online atthe Approved Shipper's website and includes the signature of the person who received thepackage.
