Upgrading from Microsoft SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 SP2<strong>StarTeam</strong> Server <strong>2009</strong> does not support the Microsoft SQL 2000 Server. You must upgrade to Microsoft SQLServer 2005 SP2. The upgrade procedure is:1. Restore the SQL 2000 database onto a SQL 2005 Server.2. Upgrade the server configuration using <strong>StarTeam</strong> Server <strong>2009</strong>.Upgrading from MSDE 2000 to SQL Server 2005 Express SP2<strong>StarTeam</strong> Server <strong>2009</strong> does not support MSDE 2000.You can upgrade to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 ExpressSP2. The upgrade procedure is:1. Backup the database from MSDE 2000.2. Restore the MSDE database backup onto the SQL Server 2005 Express SP2.3. Install <strong>StarTeam</strong> Server <strong>2009</strong>.4. Create a new ODBC DSN which points to the new database.5. Copy over the existing server configuration.6.
