Satan was ereatedperfect and upright; but to be created perfectand to remain upright are two entirely different propositions.God has been pleased to create his intelligentcreatures with perfect liberty to follow the right, orto alter their course and become rebels. Satan voluntarilychose evil, and Jesus said of him that "he wasa murderer from the beginning [of man’s life uponthis planet]. . ._ He is a liar, and the father ofit."---John 8:44.Of the ultimate end of Satan there can be no doubt.He is to be completely destroyed.
