Vaguely at first I comprehendedthe significance of the sun’s newglory. Hitherto the sun had been veiled bythis watery ring which had now descended.The waves were still rippling toward theTebah and were all tinged with gold reflectingthe radiance of the sun.Were the others aware of this new beauty?Quickly robing I ran to the general roomwhere the family was wont to meet. I foundall gathered together and after exchangingmorning greetings learned that my experiencehad been shared by all. We then joinedin reverent prayer of praise and thanksgiving,led as usual by the honored head of thefamily.Shem retired to his own quarters andinspired by this event composed a sacredsong expressing our joy over this occurrence.i
