STUDENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE<br />
The Student Affairs Committee governs nonacademic activities. This committee provides input and feedback to student affairs<br />
departments and programs and formulates student policies for recommendation and approval by the <strong>University</strong> Senate and<br />
President of the <strong>University</strong>.<br />
The student handbook provides detailed information about student activities, campus organizations, and <strong>University</strong> regulations.<br />
OFFICE OF STUDENT ACTIVITIES<br />
The Office of Student Activities (OSA) serves the needs of <strong>Walsh</strong> <strong>University</strong> students through providing diverse social and educational<br />
programming that enhances the collegiate experience. The office also provides resources and services for <strong>Walsh</strong>'s many student<br />

UNIVERSITY PROGRAM BOARD<br />
The <strong>University</strong> Programming Board (UPB) is a student run organization responsible for providing diverse social programming for<br />
<strong>Walsh</strong> <strong>University</strong>. The organization is comprised of eleven students who design and implement a wide range of programs. These<br />
programs include events such as <strong>Home</strong>coming, on campus concerts and comedians, outdoor festivals, trips to professional sporting<br />

STUDENT PUBLICATIONS, BROADCASTING AND VIDEO PRODUCTION<br />
The Spectator, the official student newspaper, reports current events on campus and voices the opinions and attitudes of the student<br />
body regarding various aspects of life at the <strong>University</strong>. The campus literary society publishes a magazine, Raison d’Etrè, and conducts<br />
various events. WCAV, the <strong>University</strong>’s cable radio station, operates from a studio in the basement of the Betzler Science<br />
Center.<br />
STUDENT GOVERNMENT<br />
Executive, Senate and Judicial branches provide responsible Student Government, foster student involvement in <strong>University</strong> governance,<br />
serve as forums of student opinion, and serve as liaisons to students, administrators, faculty and staff. Most representatives<br />
are elected annually. The Student Government office is in the David Campus Center.<br />
ATHLETICS<br />
<strong>Walsh</strong> offers nine intercollegiate sports for men (football, soccer, cross country, basketball, golf, baseball, track, indoor track, and<br />
tennis) and ten for women (volleyball, cross country, soccer, basketball, softball, track, tennis, indoor track, synchronized swimming,<br />
and golf).<br />
The men’s and women’s teams are members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the American<br />
Mideast Conference (AMC). The football program is a member of the Mid-States Football Association.<br />
INTRAMURALS<br />
The <strong>Walsh</strong> <strong>University</strong> Department of Intramurals plans, coordinates, and implements a broad range of activities and programs<br />
designed to help meet the physical, social, and recreational interest and needs of the <strong>Walsh</strong> Community. Intramurals are open to all<br />
members of the <strong>Walsh</strong> Community including residential students, commuter students, faculty/staff, and alumni.<br />
Intramurals offers competitive league play in sports such as flag football, dodgeball, softball, indoor soccer, 5-on-5 basketball, volleyball<br />
and bowling. Each year, participants compete in teams to win the annual Dean’s Cup award for league victories and participation<br />
throughout the year. Intramurals also sponsors various weekend tournaments, including billiards, table tennis, and card games.<br />
