The Almar-Aimont

Almar was founded in 

1950 and has specialised 

right 

from the start by 

marketing 

anti-accident footwear and 

work footwear. 

The production of 

anti-accident footwear, 

which started with the 

creation of IDEAL, BLAKE 

and AGO and then evolved 

in the Seventies: Almar 

was the first Company in 

Italy to inject soles in 

dual density polyurethane 

directly onto the upper. 

During this time, the 

Aimont brand was 

introduced alongside 

Almar and stayed beside 

it following different 

marketing positions. 

In 2000, the merger of 

the Almar Group with the 

French group Jallatte, 

parent company of the

of its technicians,

Specialist” (Safety
