Application tor Service: Each prospective Customer des:king electric service mq berequired to sign Distributor's stamard form <strong>of</strong> applicatioo torservice or cc:ntract before serviceis supplied by the Distributor. .2. Deposit: A deposit or suitable guarantee approximately equal to twice the averagemonthly bill nay be required <strong>of</strong> any Customer betore electric service is supplied. Distributormay at its option retum deposit to Customer after me year. Upon termination <strong>of</strong> service, depositmay be applied by Distributor against unpaid bills <strong>of</strong> Custaner, and it any balance remains .attersuch application is made, said balance shall be refunded to Custaner.3. Point <strong>of</strong> Delivery: The point <strong>of</strong> delivery is the point, as designated by Distributor,on Customer's premises where current is to be delivered to building or premises. ill wiring andequipment beyond this point <strong>of</strong> delivery shall be maintained by Custaner.4. Custo_r! s Wiring - Stani ards: All wiring <strong>of</strong> Customer must conform to Distributor t srequirements and accepted modern stan:lards, as exemplified by the reqlrirements <strong>of</strong> the National.Electrical Satety Code and the NatiQ18.l Elactric Code.5. In~ctions: Distributor shall have the right, but shall not be obligatED, to.··inspectany installation before electr:icity is introduced or at any later time, and reserves the riglt toreject any wiring or appliances oot in accordan:e with D:tstributor's st&mards; but such inspectioncr failure to inspect or reject shall not render Distriwtor liable or responsible for any' los s crdamage resulting from detects in the installatim, wiring, or appliance, or from violation <strong>of</strong>Distributor's rules, or trom accidents which may occur upon Custaner's premises.6. Underground Service Lines: Customers desiring umerground service lines trom Distributer'soverhead system must bear the excess cost ilJ:ident thereto. Discontinuance or Service by Distributor: Distributor may refuse to connect or may dis- :1cmtinue service tor theviolation <strong>of</strong> any <strong>of</strong> its Rules and Regulations, or tor violation ot any ot the iprovisions ot the Schedule <strong>of</strong> Rates and Charges, or ot the application <strong>of</strong> Customer or contract with :Customer. Distributer may discontinue service to Custaner forthe thett <strong>of</strong> current or the appearance I:<strong>of</strong> current theft devices on the premises <strong>of</strong> Custaner. The discontinuance ot service by Distributor .for any' causes as stated in this rule does not release Custaner from his obligation to Distributorfor the payment ,<strong>of</strong> mininl1m. bills as specified in application <strong>of</strong> Customer or contract withCustomer.11. Reconnection Charge: Whenever service has been d:is:ontinued ,by Distributor, as provided j,above, or a trip is made for the purpose <strong>of</strong> discontinuing serV':ice, a charge <strong>of</strong> not less than One Doll.r($1.00 may be collected by Distributor betcre serrlce is restored.' . Termination ot Contract by Customer: Customers who have fulfilled theircontract termaand wish to discontinue serv:ice DIlst give at least three (3) days' written notice to that effect,unless contract specified otherwise. Serv:ice Cl ... rges for Temporary Service: Customers requiring electric service on a tempcrarybasi s mq be recpired by Distributor to pay all costs for conrect~on anddiscomection incidentalto the supplying and removing <strong>of</strong> service.
