Effective as <strong>of</strong> March 1, 1952, and thereafter for the remaining term <strong>of</strong> thiscontract, AUthority shall supply for 1funicipality' s use am for resale all <strong>of</strong> Municipality's powerrequirements up to the maximum demand specified in section 6 here<strong>of</strong>.Municipality shall in no event obtain, by generation, purchase, or otherwise, power fromany source, other than Authority's electric system, without the censent <strong>of</strong> Authority, unlessAuthority has refused to supply !funicipality such additional quantities <strong>of</strong> power as m~ have ,beenawlied for as provided herein, and then only to the extent <strong>of</strong> its requirements in excess <strong>of</strong> thepower available from Authority. Should Munid.pality, during the period <strong>of</strong> this contract, desireto increase its purchases <strong>of</strong> power in excess <strong>of</strong> the maximum provided for herein, Municipality m~apply to Authority for additional quantities <strong>of</strong> power. Such appl:ic at ion shall be in writing andshall be supported by pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> probable need for such additional power. Authority shall, within areasonable time (which shall be determined in each instance by Authority but which in no case shallexceed twenty-four (24) months)and with due diligence, make arrangements to deliver such additionalpower, but only to the extent that Authority, in its judgment, has power available after all requirements<strong>of</strong> AuthOrity, the United States <strong>of</strong> America, and prior contractual commitments have beenmet, and subject to acts <strong>of</strong> God and otiE r contingencies beyond Authority's control. In the eventreservation <strong>of</strong> generating capacity or substantial alteration <strong>of</strong> existing generating, transmission,or transformat ion facilities or installation <strong>of</strong> additional generating, transmissioo, or transformationfacilities is necessary to enable Authority to fulfill lfunicipality's request for increasedquantities <strong>of</strong> power, 1funicipality agrees to give Authority such assurances respecting increased use<strong>of</strong> power as in Authority's judgment mc9iY be necessary to justify such reservat ion, alteration, orinstallatioo <strong>of</strong> facilities.I----6. Delivery and Receipt <strong>of</strong> power. Municipality agrees to operate it s system and to design and construct'future extensions so that it will be feasible to provide its entire power requirements from thepoint <strong>of</strong> delivery specified herein or from such additional points <strong>of</strong> delivery as Authority may deemto be feasible am as the parties may agree to establish from time to time.7. Schedule <strong>of</strong> Rates: Attached hereto and hereby made a part here<strong>of</strong> is a "Schedule <strong>of</strong> Ratesand Charges" wherein Municipality is referred to as "Distributor." Except as provided in section 4here<strong>of</strong> Municipality shall Pc9iY for the power and energy supplie:i by Authority at the rates fixed inWholesale Power Rate Schedule A. All payments shall be made to Authority at its prinCipal <strong>of</strong>ficesat Wilson Dam, Alabama, or at such other place as Authority may from time to time designate.The paymt!lt.s to be made hereunder shall be made solely and exclusively from the revenues<strong>of</strong> Municipality's electric system and shall not be a charge upon Municipality's general funds.8. Resale Rates.
