WHEREAS, the ~yor am Baird of Aldermen 'oftheCity of Oxford, MississiWidid adopt an ordinance at a fonner DEe t~ of said Mayor '!ond .Board of A.ldermEll, which ordinanceis entitled, "An ordinance to regulate and restrict the lc;ca~ion, constructioo and use ofwildings and }r emises in th e City of Uxford, ltissisippi, ,an4 forsaid purpo ses dividirl! theCity into districts, and providing a penalty for the vio1~tiqn of any provision of said ordinance",said ordinance being reoordecl in Ordinance Book No. 1 at Pages 240 and 241 of theOrdinances of the City of Oxford, Missisippi, 00 file in the ofices of the Mayor of saidCity; and,, ,Whereas, Sectiqn 16 of said ordin8flc~ provides, among other things, that the Mayor andBoard of Aldermen of the City of Oxford, Mississippi may, ,from tine to time, amend, supplementor change lIy ordinance the boundaries of districts, or regulations contained in said ordinance;and,Whereas, Section 3 of said ordinance divides the City of Oxford, Mississippi into threeuse districts, namely, "A", Residence District; "B", COlUllercial District; and "C", IndustrialDistrict; the Boundaries of such districts being shown upon the map made a part of saidordinance, said map lDe~ designated as the "Use Ujstrict Map" of the City of Oxfcrd,Miss:issippi, just as said nm.p and all other things, shown thereon are described in saidordinance; and,Whereas, 9. H. Douglass, owner, and. R. S.
