Upon motion by Alderman H. S.Sisk, seconded.by Alderman A. H. That as required by Section 3239 or the Mississippi Code or 1942, w, theundersigned, did meet at the <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> the Registrar in <strong>Oxford</strong>, Mississippi, on Thursday,the 27th day <strong>of</strong> April, <strong>1950</strong>, being rive days before the date <strong>of</strong> the aforesaid eleotion,and did caretully revise the registration books and the poll books, and did erase therefromthe names or all persons erroneously thereon, or who had died, removed, or becomedisqualified as electors frOll a.ny cause J and did register the names <strong>of</strong> all persons whohad duly applied to be registered and who had been illegally denied registration; and didthereupon find and asoertain that the total number <strong>of</strong> electors or said <strong>City</strong> qualified tovote at the aforesaid election vas thirteen hundred and one (1,301). ,3.
