S. Sisk made a motion that the bid from Rockwell Hanufacturing Company be accepted, itbeing the best and lowest bid. This motion was seconded by Alderman Robert ':1. Hickey,passed unanimously and it is so ordered.Pursuant to an advertisement in the <strong>Oxford</strong> Eagle for bids on 255 feet <strong>of</strong> 24" sevrer pipeto be opened at the Regular Heeting <strong>of</strong> the Hayor and Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen on Decenber 4, 1951,bids from the following companies were received:Choctaw, Inc., Hemphis, TennesseeSouthern Pipe and Supply Company, Inc., Heridian, HississippiAfter carefully considerine the bids from the above mentioned companies, Alderman RobertW. Hickey made a motion that the bid from Choctaw, Inc. be accepted, it being the bestand lo,.rest bid. This motion ,,,as seconded qy Alderman B. O. Elliott, pe.ssed unanimouslyand it is so ordered.Came on for consideration the matter <strong>of</strong> filling up the ditch at tl1e rear <strong>of</strong> the GrammarS~hool Building and after a careful consideration <strong>of</strong> the matter, Alderman Ben J. Hilbunmoved that all leaves, dirt and trash be dumped into said ditch. This motion was secondedby Aldernan B. O. After a discussion <strong>of</strong> the mattermotion was made, seconded and passed, and it vlaS ordlered that Hr. Harrison be and he ishereby authorized to have published in The <strong>Oxford</strong> Eagle an indtation for b5ds on saidfuel oil, stating requirements; said bids to be opened at the Regular Heeting <strong>of</strong> theMayor and Board on <strong>January</strong> 1, 1952.Came up for consideration the fact that Mrs. J. B. Brov!ll had been paying a tHO familyrate sewer and ",ater charge since February 1, 1951 and only one family had lived inMrs. Brown! shouse dm'ing that time. After carefully cons idering the matter, AldernanH. S. Sisk moved that Mrs. Brown be refunded the amolli1t due her on account <strong>of</strong> the abovementioned error. This motion WIS seconded by Alderman v1. T. Chandler, passed unanimouslyand the <strong>City</strong> Clerk is hereby authorized to issue Hrs. Brol-m a check for same.**********************
