That the said special election shall be held and conductedr===1.......- .- ....... -_...... ---'--'-'--='-".. ==1=by the Election Commissioners within and for the said <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong>, and shallbe conducted, as far as practicable, in accordance with the laws regulatinggeneral elections in the State <strong>of</strong> Mississippi and in the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong>.When the said Election Commissioners shall have received the returns <strong>of</strong> thesaid election and ascertained the results there<strong>of</strong>, they shall, after havingcanvassed the same, forthwith make returns there<strong>of</strong> to the Mayor and Board <strong>of</strong>Alderman <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong> Qy filing a report setting forth their actionin the holding <strong>of</strong> said election and the results there<strong>of</strong>.Section 6. That the ballots to be used at said special election shallbe in substantially the following form, to-wit:OFFICIAL BALLOTSPECIAL BOND ELECTIONOXFORD SEPARATE SCHOOL DISTRICT OFLAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPIFriday the 28th day <strong>of</strong> December, 1951PROPOSITIONShall the <strong>Oxford</strong> Separate School District <strong>of</strong> Lafayette County,Mississippi issue its bonds in the principal amount <strong>of</strong> ThreeHundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) to raise moneyfor the purposes <strong>of</strong> erecting, repairing, equipping, remodelling,and enlarging school buildings and related facilities, includingauditoriums, lunch rooms, vocational training building and libraries?FOR THE BOND ISSUEAGAINST THE BOND ISSUEL 7I 7(Place a cross "X" or check mark opposite your choiceon the proposition)On the reverse <strong>of</strong> each ballot there shall be printedsubstantially the following:OFFICIAL BALLOTSPECITL BOND ELECTIONOXFORD SEPARATE SCHOOL DISTRICTFriday the 28th day <strong>of</strong> December, 1951Election Precinct: <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong>, Mississippiat the <strong>City</strong> Hall <strong>of</strong> said <strong>City</strong>.Section 7.
