That a special election shall beand the same hereby iscalled and ordered to be held within the said Oxford Separate School Districtof Lafayette County, Mississippi on Friday the 28th day of December, 1951for the puspose of submitting to the qualified electors of said schooldistrict the proposition setforth in the form of Notice of Election ascontained in Section 4 of this resolution.Section3. That said special election shall be held at the pollingplace designated and set forth in the form of Notice of Election as containedin Section 4 of this resolution. The said polling place for said electionshall be opened at the hour of 7 o'clock in the morning and shall be keptopen until the hour of 6 o'clock in the evening on the aforesaid date, andall qualified electors of said district will be entitled to vote in the saidelection.Section 4. That the City Clerk shall cause notice of said election tobe published once a week for at least three consecutive weeks in the "OxfordEagle", a newspaper published in the City of Oxford, in said district. Thefirst pUblication of said notice shall be made not less than twenty-one daysprior to the date fixed for said election, and the last publication shall bemade not more than seven days prior to the said date. The said Notice shallbein substantially the following form, to-wit:NOTICE OF BOND ELECTIONOXFORD SEPARATE SCHOOL DISTRICT OFLAFAYETI'E COUNTY, MISSISSIPPINotice is hereby given to the qualified electors of theOxford Separate School District of Lafayette County, Mississippithat a special election will be held in said school district onFriday the 28th day of December, 1951 for the purpose of submittingto the qualified electors of said school district thefollowing proposition, to-wit:PROPOSITIONShall the Oxford Separate School District of Lafayette County,Mississippi issue its bonds in the principal amount of ThreeHundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) to raise moneyfor the purposes of erecting, repairing, equipping, remodellingand enlarging school buildings and related facilities, includingauditoriums, lunch rooms, vocational training building and libraries?The said election will be held at and votes may be cast at theOxford City Hall, Oxford, Mississippi.The nol1s of said electj on will be onen(l"l ~+, the hour of7 o'clock in the morning and will be kept open until the hourof 6 o'clock in the evening of the aforesaid date, and saidelection shall be held and conducted as far as practicablein accordance with the laws regulating general elections inthe State of Hississippi and in the City of Oxford.All qualified electors of the said Oxford Separate SchoolDistrict of Lafayette County, Mississippi will be entitled to votein the said election.By Order of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Cityof Oxford, Mississippi, this the 30th day of November, 1951.( SEA L ) Robert w.
