Marchbanks*****-*******-****Mr. Will Lewis presented the folloWing resolution:STATE OF MISSISSIPPICOUNTY OF LAFAYEl'TECITY OF OXFORDAt a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Oxford Separate SchoolDistrict of Lafayette County, Mississippi, duly called and held onNovember 29, 1951, in the office of Dr. A. H. Little, in said district,for the purpose of considering and taking such action on the followingresolution and related matters as were necessary or proper, the followingproceedings were had, to-wit:Ira L. Morgan, one of the trustees, introduced and moved the adoptionof the following resolution:_.J__...._..._ ..Whereas, the members of this board of trustees have determined thatit is to the best interest of the Oxford Separate School District ofLafayette County, Mississippi to issue bon~s not to exceed the sum 6fThree Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00) for the purposesof erecting, repairing, equipping, remodelling and enlarging schoolbuildings and related facilities, including auditoriums, lunch rooms,vocational training building and libraries;Now, therefore, be it resolved that the board of trustees of theOxford Separate School District of Lafayette County, Mississippi recommendand request the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Oxford,Mississippi to call an election to determine whether or not the bondsof the Oxf'ord Separate School District of lafayette County, MissisSippi shallbe issued in an amount not exceeding the sum of Three Hundred and FiftyThousand Dollars ($350,000.00) for the purposes of erecting, repairing,equipping, remodelling and enlarging school buildings and related facilities,including auditoriums, lunch rooms, vocational training building andlibraries.Dr. A. H. Little, one of the trustees, seconded the motion andmoved the adoption of the foregoing resolution.On roll call the following trustees voted ay~: Will Lewis, Ira L.Morgan, C. V. DeShazo, D. H.
