Hickey, Aldermen of the City of Oxford, Mississippi:You are hereby notified that a special meeting of the Mayor andBoard of Aldermen of the City of Oxford, Mississippi is called to meetat the City Hall in said City of Oxford, Mississippi at S:45 o'clockA. M., on the 30th day of November, A. D., 1951. The objects of saidmeeting are as follows:1. For the purpose of considering such matters as may be presentedfor the purpose of determining the question of issuing bonds forthe Oxford Separate School District of Lafayette County, Mississippiin the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00)to raise money for the purposes of erecting, repairing, equipping,remodelling, and enlarging school buildings and related facilitiesincluding auditoriums, lunch rooms, vocational training buildingand libraries; all as set forth in a resolution of the Trusteesof the Oxford Separate School District of Lafayette County, Mississippifiled with the proper officials of the City of Oxford,Mississippi and to take such action on said resolution and relatedmatters as may be necessary or proper.2. And for the purpose of considering the written request of the Trustees ofthe Oxford Separate School District of Lafayette County, Mississippithat the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Oxford,Mississippi, on behalf of said school district, borrow the sumof Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for current expensesof said school district in anticipation of the collection ofad valorem taxes for the current fiscal year and to take suchaction on said request and related matters as may be necessaryor proper3. And for the purpose of considering am adopting AN ORDINANCEAUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE OF REFUNDING SPECIALSTREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF THE CITY OF OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI,IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND, FOUR HUNDRED EITHTY­FIVE DOLLARS AND EIGHTY-FOUR CENTS ($lOO,4S5.S4) FOR THEPURPOSE OF TAKING UP AND REFUNDING A LIKE PRINCIPAL AMOUNTOR OUTSTANDING BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY: PRESCRIGINGTHE FORMS AND TERl·1S OF SAID REFUNDING BONDS: DIRIDTING VALIDATIONTHEREOF: AND PROVIDING FOR THli: LEVY OF AN ANNUAL TAX SUFFICIENTTO PAY THE INTEREST ON SAID BONDS AS IT ACCRUES AND TO PAY THEPRINCIPAL THEREOF AS IT HATURES.lsi R.
