Price, Attorney******************After the meeting had been opened according to law, the following business was had to-wit:Came on for consideration the matter <strong>of</strong> collectipgfees from churches for electrical andgas inspections and after a discussion <strong>of</strong> the matter, Alde~Bn Robert li. Hickey movedthat no fees will be collected from churches for the above mentioned inspections. AldermanBen J. Hilbun seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.Came on for consideration the matter <strong>of</strong> a water heater that was left in Apartment 2-C byGuy Cook, Jr, and his desire to sell same to the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong> for $5.00. After a discussion<strong>of</strong> the matter, Alderman Ben J. Hilbun moved that the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong> pay Mr. Cook $5.00 forsaid heater and leave same in the apartment. This motion was seconded by Alderman H. S.Sisk, passed unanimously and it is so ordered.The remainder <strong>of</strong> the time was spent in the equiliaztion <strong>of</strong> the 1951 Tax Roll.On motion made, secc:1ded and passed unanimously, it was ordered that this 30ard do now recessuntil 7:30 P. M., Thursday, October 11, 1951.
