M. , 1,lhen the Citizens' Committeewill make a report to the people of Oxford on the School Expansion Program. Mr. Holleyalso requested that the City of Oxford buy debars for cars to be used by people who cometo the Uni"ersi ty for extension courses at the University of Hississippi. Motion Ims madeby Alderman B. O. Elliott that the City of Oxford buy 2500 debars for the above purpose.This motion was seconded b-r Alderman H. S. Sisk, passed unanimously and it is so ordered.1IHI'S. W. 'Ii. Joor and a nu.mber of members of the Band Parents Club appeared before theHayor and Board of Aldermen and reouested that said Hayor and Board donate ~?500.00 tosaid club to mate payment on uniforms purchased sometime ago. After a c8reful considerationof the request, Alderman H. S. Sisk made a motion that the City donate the:~500.00 as requestedby club. This motion Has seconded by Alderman H. T. C. E. Harrison, Superintendent of the; Light Department is hereby authorized tomake said chan8e.Came on for consideration the matter of the N. F. A's requesting that all users anticipateneeds for a year and advertise for same. After carefully considering the matter, motionwas nade, seconded and nassed unanimous'y and Hr. Harrison is hereby authorized to advertisefor ,.rire and all electrical supplies needed for the last quarter of 1951 and for the fourquarters of 1952.Came on for consideration the matter of the fee for the City Attorney, J. H. Price, forthe School BuonO. Issue and after a discussion of the matter, Alderman B. O. Elliott wovedthat Hr. Price be allowed :';1,000.00 if the Bond Issue does not pass, and ~;2,000.00 if theBond Issue does pass. This motion \-las seconded b=! Alderman 1,{. T. Chandler, passedunanimously, and it is so ordered.Came on for consideration the l'1attey' of an error made in 'Hiring of Hinter's lIens' Storeand ude to said error, the current used by Hinter's store registered on Hume's storemeter from October 19L!-6 to September, 1951. Both Hume and vanter paid for current usedby Winter. After a careful checking of bills covering the above mentioned period, AldermanB. O. Elliott Hade a motion that Hr.
