Fulmer, Deputy Clerk* * *After the meeting had been opened according to law, the fo11owi~gto-wit;business was hadThe City Engineer presented seven resolutions on streets or parts of streets determining thecost of special improvements thereon for the C:msideration of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.,After duly conSidering each resolution individually, section by section, then as a whole,each resolution was unanimously adopted by vote of all aldermen. The seven resolutions arein words and figures as follows:A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TH~ COST OF IMPROVEMENT ON AVENT STREET (S)AVENUE (S) FROH ITS NORTHERN TERHINUS WI'fH WILLIAMS AVENUE SOUTH 700FEET.Be it resolved by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City ofOxford, Mississippi;Section 1. That the cost for" the special improvement (s)on Avent street from its northern te~us with Williams AvenueSouth 700 feet is the sum of Fifteen Thousand Eighteen Dollars andNinety-Six Cents ($15,018.96) of which amount the City shall payEight Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety Dollars and Sixteen Cents($8,790.16) and the property owners on said street shall pay the sumof Six Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Eight Dollars and Eighty r,ents($6,228.80) on the basis provided for in House Bill No. 76 of theGeneral Acts of the Regular Legislative Session of 1950 and as shownby the assessment to be filed with the City Clerk for said im:",)rovementeSection 2.
