Price, City Attorney*******************After the meeting had been opened according to law, the following business was hadto-wit:Dr. Rogers appeared before the Mayor and Board of Aldermen requesting that the Cityplace 120 feet of drainage pipe across his lot in The Douglass Subdivision, and aftera discussion of the request, Alderman B. O. Elliott made a motion that the City install120 feet of lS" drainage pipe in the manner outlined by Dr. Rogers. This motion wasseconded b.1 Alderman H. S. Chandler seconded the motion:AN ORDINANCE REPEALING A CERTAIN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING OF VEHICLES ONCERTAIN SIDES OF PORTIONS OF HARRISON AND TYLER A~ruES WITHIN THE CITY OFOXFORD, MISSISSIPPI.Be it ordained by the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Oxford,Mississippi:Section 1. That Sections 1 to 5, inclusive of a certain ordinance prohi~itingthe parking of automobiles and other vehicles on the North side of Harrison Avenuefrom Tenth Street to South Lamar and on the South side of Tyler from South Lamar toTenth Street in the City of Oxford, Mississippi, and for other purposes, as said ordinanceappears of record in Ordinance Book Number 2 of the City of Oxford, Mississippi, atPage 95 be and the same hereby are repealed.Section 2.
