Price, <strong>City</strong> Attorney*******************After the meeting had been opened according to law, the following business was hadto-wit:Dr. Rogers appeared before the Mayor and Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen requesting that the <strong>City</strong>place 120 feet <strong>of</strong> drainage pipe across his lot in The Douglass Subdivision, and aftera discussion <strong>of</strong> the request, Alderman B. O. Elliott made a motion that the <strong>City</strong> install120 feet <strong>of</strong> lS" drainage pipe in the manner outlined by Dr. Rogers. This motion wasseconded b.1 Alderman H. S. Sisk and carried.~lim9as~**********************Alderman B. O. Elliott moved the adoption <strong>of</strong> the following ordinance, and AldermanW. T. Chandler seconded the motion:AN ORDINANCE REPEALING A CERTAIN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING OF VEHICLES ONCERTAIN SIDES OF PORTIONS OF HARRISON AND TYLER A~ruES WITHIN THE CITY OFOXFORD, MISSISSIPPI.Be it ordained by the Mayor and Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong>,Mississippi:Section 1. That Sections 1 to 5, inclusive <strong>of</strong> a certain ordinance prohi~itingthe parking <strong>of</strong> automobiles and other vehicles on the North side <strong>of</strong> Harrison Avenuefrom Tenth Street to South Lamar and on the South side <strong>of</strong> Tyler from South Lamar toTenth Street in the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong>, Mississippi, and for other purposes, as said ordinanceappears <strong>of</strong> record in Ordinance <strong>Book</strong> Number 2 <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong>, Mississippi, atPage 95 be and the same hereby are repealed.Section 2.
