S. Sisk movedthat all water and light business be removed from the Office <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong> Clerk anda complete and separate department be made for said department. This motion wasseconded by Alderman B. O. Elliott and carried unanimously and it is so ordered.************************An application from R. J. Nail to operate a taxi in the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Oxford</strong>, was presentedto the' Mayor and Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen, and after carefully considering the application,Alderman H. S. Sisk moved that this application be granted. This motion was secondedby AldeI'r'qn v1. T. Chandler and the application was unanimously approved. Mr. Nail wasgiven Badge No. 130.************************Came on for consideration the matter <strong>of</strong> the hay at the airport and the cutting <strong>of</strong> same.After a discussion, motion was made, that an advertisement be published in The <strong>Oxford</strong>Eagle for bids on cutting all <strong>of</strong> the hay now growing on the airport field for one-half<strong>of</strong> said hay. This motion was seconded and passed unanimously and it is so ordered.**********************Mr. Ed Lowe, <strong>City</strong> Engineer outlined to the Mayor and the Board <strong>of</strong> Aldermen the need foran air compressor and after carefully considering the matter, Alderman B. O. Elliottmoved that an advertisement for said air compressor be published in the <strong>Oxford</strong> Eagle.Alderman Ro~ert W. Hickey seconded the motion and it carried unanimouly and the <strong>City</strong>Engineer is hereby authorized to publish request for bids on same.***********************Pursuant to an advertisment in The <strong>Oxford</strong> Eagle for bids on concrete pipe to be receivedup until 7:30 p.
