Establishing and equipping school athletic fields and necessaryfacilities connected therewith, and purchasing land therefor; andlC. Providing necessary water, light, heating and sewerage facilitiesfor school buildings and purchasing land therefor.section 2. That a special election shall be and the same is hereby calledand ordered to be held within the said Oxford Municipal Separate School Districton Tuesday the 16th day of October, 1951 for the purpose of submitting tothe qualified electorsof said school district, the proposition set forthin the form of Notice of Election as contained in Section 4 of this resolution.Section 3. That said special election shall be held at the pollingplace designated and set forth in the form of Notice of Election ascontainedin Section 4 of this resolution. The said polling place for said electionshall be opened at the hour of 7 o'clock in the morning and shall be keptopen until the hour of 6 o'clock in the evening on the aforesaid date, andall qualified electors of said district will be entitled to vote in the saidelection.Section 4. That the City Clerk shall cause notice of said election tobe published once a week for at least three consecutive weeks in the "OxfordEagle" anewspaper published in the City of Oxford, in said district. Thefirst pUblication of said notice shall be made not less than twenty-one daysprior to the date fixed for said election, and the last publication shall bemade not more than seven days prior to the said date. The said Notice shallbe in substantially the following form, to-wit~NOTICE OF BOND ELECTIONOXFORD ~rrnNICIPAL SEPARATE SCHOOL DISTRICTLAFAYETTE COUNTY, MISSISSIPPINotice is hereby given to the qualified electors of theOxford Municipal Separate School District of Lafayette CountyMississippi that a special election will be held in said schooldistrict on Tuesday the 16th day of October, 1951 for the purposeof submitting to the qualified electors of said school thefollowing proposition, to-wit:PROPOSITIONShall the Oxford :t-1unicipal Separate School District of LafayetteCounty, Mississippi issue its bonds in the principal amount of$473,000.00 to raise money for the following purposes:A.
