Hodge $10.00 that wasput up to secure a deposit on light bill at rental house on North 7th Street andthe check was cashed through error. After due consideration, Alderman Ben J.Hilbun moved that Mr. Honee be refunded $10.00, and he further moved that Mr.Hodge be given an adjustment on water and smi0r on said house bill, but be charged$1.00 light bill. This motion was seconded by Alderman B. O. Elliott and carriedunanimously •************************The matter ca!ne on for consideration <strong>of</strong> an adjustment on car tax for John C. Wing<strong>of</strong>or <strong>1950</strong>. Mr. Wingo was assessed "lith a <strong>1950</strong> Plymouth, assessment being $900.00 andappe'aring on Page 101, Line 22 on the <strong>1950</strong> tax roll, and paid on Receipt No. 3987<strong>January</strong> 16, 1951. Mrs. Wingo should have been assessed with a 1946 Chevrolet andthe as'sessment should have been for $300.00, therefore, Mr. Wingo is due a refund <strong>of</strong>$19.$0. Alderman Ben J. Hilbun moved that the <strong>City</strong> Clerk be authorized to refundMr. 1.J'ingo e19.S0 due to gross error. This motion \·1as seconded by Alderman B. O. Elliottand passed unanimousJy.**** ~
