Will Levlis, Pr0sident <strong>of</strong> the Board <strong>of</strong> Trustees, presented to the Board thematter <strong>of</strong> a school expansion program. After a due discussion <strong>of</strong> the matter, motionwas made by Alderman Ben J. Hilbun that the School Board be requested to make a surveyto determine \-lhether or not it HOlud be pr<strong>of</strong>i ta b1e to extend the School Districts 1ir.li ts,and after completion <strong>of</strong> the survey to make a recommendation to the Mayor and Board <strong>of</strong>Aldermen that they call an election for a school bond issue within 60 days ifpossible. This motion was seconded by Alderman B. O. Elliott and passed unanimouslyand it is so ordered.******************************The matter came on for consideration <strong>of</strong> allowing <strong>City</strong> Employees Saturday afternoons<strong>of</strong>f. After a discussion <strong>of</strong> the matter, Alderman Ben J. Hilbun made a motion thatthe employees Hork 10 hours 4 days each week, 9 hours one day each 1tleek and get <strong>of</strong>fat 12 o'clock Noon on Saturdays. This to include all employees working for theStreet, Water and Light Departments. This motion was seconded by Alderman B.
